Last Monday night, a select group of lucky deakinites participated in an entertaining hour of salsa
dancing, run by two demonstrators from The Salsa Foundation. After the guys politely asked the girls
to dance, much hilarity ensued as we all attempted to master the seemingly never-ending sequence
of steps, at what seemed like high speed. After getting some basics down, the fancy showoff spins

After Round 19, Adam King is in first position with 100 points, followed by Steve Northey with 98
points and Michael Fordyce also on 98 points. Only 3 rounds to go. [Maybe put up a copy of the
ladder like last time. That'd be cool].
 
We will be having a Grand Final party in the projector room on September 25th for those who are
sticking around for the Mid-semester break. Pies/soft drink will be provided and everyone will

The 2010 Deakin Hall MarioKart competition was held on Monday 19th August, with 16 brave residents putting their thumbs to the Wii remote in battle. After the group and knock-out stages, it came down to the wire, with Jonathon Hampshire and Derek Ong fighting it out in the final, Grand-Prix style. Ultimately, underdog Jonno came out on top to be crowned Deakin Hall MarioKart champion! Thanks to everyone who competed.
