Careers Seminar

On Tuesday March 30th, around 20 lucky Deakin Hall residents attended the first career seminar of 2010. Those who attended learnt valuable tips from Monash Careers' Craig Blake, a Careers Education Consultant, who spoke about improving ones resume and job application skills. There will be another career seminar next semester, covering topics such as undergraduate employment (internships, vacation work, cadetships), graduate employment, and tips and tricks for interview success.
Later this semester a self defence seminar will be held. If anyone has any suggestions of other seminar ideas or knows of a good self defence instructor, please let me, Leah Uhe, know.
