Common Services
Borrowing Items:
- Vacuum cleaners may be borrowed for free from the Operations Office between 9am to 9pm, you must provide your student ID card.
- The barbeque pit is free to be used on a 'first in best dressed' manner. Please ensure that you clean the area after you finish.

Linen Change:
As with all the Halls, a free linen change is available every Tuesday between 6pm and 9pm. Bring your old linen down to the Operations Office and it can be exchanged for fresh new sheets and pillowcases. You are allowed to change a maximum of two sheets and one pillow case.

Shopping Shuttle Bus Service:
A shuttle bus runs between the Halls of Residence and a local shopping centre, Brandon Park, every Saturday between 9:15am and 12:40pm. The buses shuttle every half hour from the shopping center to halls and back. Please wait at the bus stop in between Farrer and Roberts Hall for the bus to pick you up.
Maintenance:
MRS has an excellent maintenance programme that allows residents to report problems via the online form or by contacting the operations office. After hours emergency maintenance concerns should be raised with the services personnel. You can contact the services personnel on ext: 53059 using any internal phone.
Maintenance staff take care of all kitchen and laundry equipment as well as smoke detectors, doors, locks, lights, audio and video equipment, plumbing… everything! MRS does not maintain residents personal belongings.
